These Terms and Conditions are applicable every time you access our website(s) and/or place an order on our website(s). DPD - Standard Dispatch* (UK Mainland - Trackable)
Prices for shipping are calculated in the checkout and may change if you have large or L-L (long length) items. It may also change depending on your location and postcode.
4.1 Some postal addresses in Northern / Southern Ireland, Highlands, and offshore Islands of Great Britain are not covered by our standard shipping rates. These individual rates will be displayed when going through the checkout process.
4.2 While we endeavour to deliver your goods as quickly as possible, it is important to note that we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date. Additionally, we cannot accept liability for any out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.
4.3 All items are subject to stock availability.
4.4 We may require a signature upon delivery to acknowledge that you, the customer, have successfully received your goods.
4.5 Please note, if you wish to return your goods to us you have 14 days from receipt of the goods to do so. For further information on returns please see our Returns & Refund Policy.
4.6 Once your order has successfully been delivered to you, and we have received your payment in full, you will automatically become the owner of the goods. They will be held by you at your own risk and we will not be liable for any loss or destruction of these items.
4.7 Royal Mail - Whilst we understand that some items may be small enough to be shipped via Royal Mail, we do not provide this as a service as we a) cannot offer a trackable service, and b) cannot guarantee delivery of the goods.
4.8 Refusing a delivery once the goods have left - Please note, if you refuse the delivery of goods from our chosen courier once they have been sent to you, we reserve the right to bill you for both the cost of sending the item(s) to you AND the cost of returning the item(s) to us. If you refuse an order without instructions from ourselves to do so, and it becomes lost in transit, we will not refund the value of the goods. All liability for the goods will have passed to the person who refused the delivery. Any losses, or damage that occurs to any lost parcels, will be the responsibility of the person who ordered the goods.
4.9 Delivery was attempted but you were out at the time – If goods are returned to us due to you not being available at the time the delivery was attempted, then we reserve the right to charge you for the return of these goods back to us. We will deduct the original delivery charge AND return charge from any refund that is provided. Please note, we usually make at least 2 attempts to deliver your goods to you, and our couriers will always leave a card for you to contact them on if you are not in. If no contact is made with our couriers about a missed delivery, then the goods will be returned to us forthwith.
4.10 Some of our items are very large and bulky. You, the customer, are responsible for ensuring that adequate space is available when delivering your goods. If we are unable to deliver your items due to restricted access, or for any other reason, a handling charge will be applied.

5.2 We shall not be responsible to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for incidental, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, any loss of profit (direct or indirect), loss of sales, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss of business, third party claims, pure economic loss arising out of or in connection of the performance or non-performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions, including such damage as may be reasonably foreseeable at the date you order the goods.
5.3 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or restrict our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
5.4 Our liability for any claim for loss or damage shall be limited to the sum paid by you for the goods.
5.5 A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
5.6 If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the other provisions of these terms and conditions.
5.7 We may assign or transfer any of our rights or sub contract any of our obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party.
5.8 You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or sub contract any of your obligations under these terms and conditions except with our specific permission in writing.
5.9 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and any such changes will be communicated on our website.
5.10 There are links on our website to third party websites which may be of interest to you. We do not have any control over the content of these websites nor can we be liable in respect of anything contained on these websites.
5.11 These terms and conditions govern the entire trading relationship between you and ourselves and will remain in force for the duration of our trading relationship.
5.12 All intellectual property rights (including use of trade marks) shall be solely owned by us or the respective manufacturer. You are permitted only to use material on our website(s) as expressly authorised by us or our licensor's.

7.2 Once you have notified ToolChimp of a problem of this nature, our obligation to you will be at our discretion: to make good any shortage and/or non-delivery; to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; to refund the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
All of our products carry a manufacturer guarantee (unless otherwise stated) covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship. It does not cover general wear & tear or damage, and does not cover consumables or wearable items.
RETURNING UNWANTED ITEMS
You may only return an item that is unwanted under the following circumstances:
1.1 An unwanted item may only be returned if the item is in an “as new” condition: it must be returned to us in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. The original packaging should not be marked or damaged – if the box is opened to examine the contents, it must be done without marking or damaging the product in any way.
1.2 Unwanted items should be returned with their original box, packaging, and any accessories.
1.3 We ask you NOT to write directly on any of the packaging, and to notify us in writing (fax, letter, or email) about your intentions to return any unwanted items. Please notify us within 7 working days of receipt of the item, and return the item(s) within 30 days of your receipt. We recommend you keep a copy of this.
1.4 The order was not an order for a business or company.
1.5 Items not returned to us in an "as new” condition will not be refunded, and any costs to return these items back to you will need to be paid before we can return them. Please note, if you request an exchange for another item(s) then you agree to pay the standard delivery charge that would automatically apply to those item(s) if purchased directly through our website. Please also note that we cannot be held responsible for any lost returns. We do not accept any liability for the item(s) until they have been received by us. Please ensure any unwanted items are returned by an appropriate courier, insured method, or trackable service.
1.6 All costs associated with the return of the unwanted item(s) are to be paid by you, the customer, and the return must be made to the correct returns address.
1.7 Unwanted goods should be returned to us with adequate protection to ensure that both the items and packaging reach us in a good condition. If any goods are damaged in transit you will need to pursue a claim with your chosen courier or mail delivery service to resolve this. All goods returned to us as unwanted will be examined upon return: any refunds / exchange will only be applied once a final agreement has been made to accept the product(s) back in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
1.8 Any free or bundled items originally received with the product must also be returned.
